I totally agree with you. People think my husband and I are cruel because we intentionally attempt to keep our children "unplugged." Sure they have an Ipod, Playstation 2, we have TVs, DVD, VHS, etc. But they do not spend all of their time on these things. All things in moderation. Due to our wonderful springlike weather lately, they've spent more time outside playing with the gifts that God gives us than they have the gifts they got for Christmas. We also make them do chores, eat their veggies and go to bed at a decent hour. They don't whine and complain because they know there is no option B.

Love your rants.
