I think I need to create a whole new section on my blog for information on this movement. I’d like to not only keep myself informed but also be able to inform others. Most of what I have been finding has come to me via Twitter replies to some of my own tweets. Then I started rattling cages amongst my Facebook friends. I think I may have stirred a sense of fear up in one of liberal friends. Although, I can’t see how if Texas did secede that it would effect him.
I have been following a candidate running for governor, but I need to try and pick up on a much broader view. What do most Texan’s think of this idea? What planning is being thought through if Texan were to do this? I have a feeling I will come up with many more questions before all is said and done.
So I will continue to Google and even look for some Texas newspapers to read. I don’t see this country turning itself around anytime soon, too many people seem to like having the government tell them how to live.

Texas must secede from the union in order for the state to survive as the entire west needs to withdraw.
I’m thinking the south, I’d like California to stay away. It’s my opinion, that they are part of the problem, not part of the solution.
With this country moving in a direction that is not what the founding fathers hoped we would hold dear. What we would hold dear such as individual freedom and liberty is being stolen from us as we move towards total socialism and dictatorship. While most of the country is hoping for this downfall, free trade is one of the biggest problems this country faces and unless the West withdraws from the union, free trade and socialism will change the face of this nation. Support Texas’s attempts to secede from the union. WMM

Free trade as destoyed this nation, the jobs of millions and has placed this nation on a dangerous course to total socialism. Free trade must be eliminated if our American economy is to survive and keep the jobs at home. Our economy was never set up to compete in a world economic environment; it was intended to work within the confines of this country for the benefit of the American citizen.
THE SOLUTION: THE WEST NEEDS TO WITHDRAW FROM THE UNION! WMM
They are correct; the West needs to seceed from the union.
There are states out west – California – that are part of the problem, not part of the solution. I think you will find that more southern states will be in line will seceding.

I am not sure why it has taken so long for Texas to declare her independence from the United States? I hope there isn’t a yellow streak running down Texas’ back. I am planning on running for state senate from Utah, and one of the first things I am going to do is recommend full secession for Utah.
I still feel Texas should lead the way for secession, which will allow the smaller western states to do the same. It is time the West forms its own union.
It is time to support Governor Rick Perry for President. He is the only one who can effectively defeat the current president and the only one who appears to know what he is talking about. I myself would love to run for governor of the Great State of Utah, but you know where I would stand if it came to pass if the West would pull out of the union and create a nation independent of Washington. Washington no longer represents the West’s values and thus, it is time to go our separate ways.
I am not sure why I am the only one who supports having the Western States from the Dakotas to….well….California to form their own nation. Do you who is reading this message really believe Washington cares about you? You send your representatives and your money to Washington and both disappear without a trace until the re-election time. The both emerge. WESTERN STATES: HEAR ME…WITHDRAW FROM THE UNION NOW!!!!!!!!!
Is there anyone out there, especially in Texas, who agrees with what I have to say, or is everyone hoping their neighbors will take the first step? In Nazi Germany, neighbors said nothing while they watched their friends and neighbors were taken away by the Gestapo or the S.S. They did not want to get “involved” so they said nothing. Then the gestapo came for them, and no neighbor came to help, but watch through their windows. Do we want that here? Seceed from the union TEXAS…lead the other states to do the same.

I am from Idaho, now living in Salt Lake City. I have an organization called THE UTAH SOVEREIGNTY SOCIETY which has been looking into the land grab called project 60 in Idaho. China is buying up huge land in the state, some areas take up 50 square miles.Because we owe so much from this free trade garbage, the Chinese government is taking land in Idaho, Ohio, Michigan and Pennslyvania to satisfy the huge deficit debt we owe China. Idaho as a state will not exist in a few years probably and the citizens there will most likely live in a Communist State. Is your state next?

I am surprised that I am the only one who writes for this blog. Are there not more people interested in seeing the Western States especially TEXAS want to pull out of the union. Why do we want to hold the union together when the nation sinks. Are we playing fiddle while Rome burns? What is wrong with the idea in forming a new nation where we can restore the ideals of the original founding fathers?
It frustrates me too – but keep posting – keep fighting the good fight!

It looks like I will be running for Utah State Legislature in my district. I will be fighting the good fight, and the first bill I will introduce is for Utah to withdraw from the union. As mad as people are here about illegal immigration, I do not see a problem there. Maybe the other states will follow suit.
